Copyright & DMCA Policy

Tapreelz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright and how we handle such reports under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and similar laws.

Last updated: June 5, 2026

1. Our commitment

It is our policy to (a) respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA; (b) remove or disable access to infringing material; and (c) terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. Only the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf may submit a notice.

2. How to file a copyright (DMCA) notice

If you believe content on the Services infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent (Section 6) that includes all of the following:

  1. a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works);
  3. identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (for example, the URL or username);
  4. your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email;
  5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Caution. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Do not make false claims.

3. What happens after a valid notice

Upon receiving a compliant notice, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted it. We may provide the user with a copy of the notice, including your contact details.

4. Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to our Designated Agent that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
  3. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. your name, address, and telephone number; and
  5. a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

5. Repeat-infringer policy

We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, and we may take such action even before a formal third strike where the circumstances warrant.
